1911 I. P. Frink, Large Bronze Bank Desk Lamp

These were the best desk lamps ever made. They very high end and the inside had four rows of angled fluted mirror to spread the light evenly. The I. P. Frink_Company was very scientific in their approach and had patents on all their reflector lighting. These bank lamps are all bronze, heavy and very stately. These were the lamps found at the check and slip writing counters. The base has three holes and were mounted to the table. This is a large example that is two foot long. The Frink catalog called this lamp the, Frink desk reflector and the catalog description reads. A lighting system for a bank must work itself into the detail of the equipment and not distract from the dignity and simplicity and be rich but not gaudy. $1,400
