1910 GE Street Light
This is an early General Electric luminous arc lamp. It has a 15 inch diameter and stands 30 inches tall. I believe these were the type of street lamps used in NYC at the turn of the century. They have been rewired to now take a standard base bulb. The finish is black cast iron and the copper body has a beautiful verdigris patina. the acorn shaped lens has an interesting tree bark pattern. Even the stamped makers logo is the same. This is an early industrial lamp that makes a large statement. Its 28 inches tall plus a chain drop you spec. Diameter is 15 inches… $1400
