Impressive Antique Street Light with Wire Mesh Globe

The Humphery Lamp Company has been around since 1901 and they are still manufacturing. Their large early fixtures were used to light streets in western U.S. towns. The example pictured above has a black finish with bright brass accents. It does show a bit of age in the finish. You can still see the large top rocking valve with pull chains and the 5 needle valves around the perimeter. The large 12 inch clear glass globe has the safety wire mesh. We were able to electrify the lamp with four sockets and not destroy any of the original gas parts… 20″ diameter x 32″… $2200
