Large Ornate 1800s Cast Iron Six-Arm Oil Chandelier

Not many of these large and impressive Victorian oil chandeliers were made and few survive today. Lamps like this are often unsigned but are attributed to companies like Tucker or Bradley and Hubbard. Our best guess is 1860 by Tucker. There are six large arms and each one held an oil lamp. The diameter is an impressive 38 inches x 36 inches tall. It was quite a job to carefully electrify each font to now take a standard bulb and not destroy the historic look of this large piece. This example was finished with half frosted ball shades and interesting brass chimneys. The jars have an emerald glass that gives this lamp its unique look.
