The explosion proof globes have always been a favorite of mine and I offer a number of different examples with a 5 inch diameter… But I have never seen an explosion proof fixture with a thick glass 8 inch diameter. The impressive scale of this unique industrial lamp gives it a striking appearance. The heavy glass screws into a two piece top of copper and cast iron. The globe has the feel of small fish bowl.
